Day Care Centre

The Day Care Centre, Dibrugarh University was established on 2nd September 2008 under the guidance of the former  Vice Chancellor, of  Dibrugarh University, Prof. K K Deka. An integral part of the UGC system, this Centre was established to help  working parents employed in the University to cope with the problem of providing quality child care while they are away at work . There are currently 4 employees dedicated to the responsibilities in the Centre. The Centre is well equipped with all the necessary paraphernalia required for quality child care  The Day Care Centre has started providing nursery and pre-nursery courses for the kids.  At present there are 75 children availing the facilities at the Centre with 50 kids attending at the nursery and pre-nursery classes and availing the crèche facility. The Day Care Centre is also helping the working parents mothers of the fringe area who are not the members of the University community. The Centre is assisted by a committee formed with the help of the faculty and employees of the Dibrugarh University.
